Elkhart Trip!!!

So I went to Elkhart, Indiana to interview for an internship at The Elkhart Truth. And guess what? I GOT IT! I got to go shoot three assignments with chief photographer Jen. I also met the managing editor Greg. Plus ate at an amazing restaurant with them! I also stayed at the Ramada Inn and ate at Olive Garden and took a few pix while along the way. AWESOME!!! I can't wait till June so I can really get started!!!

So Im starting week 3 of my internship and so far I have had an amazing time. Los and Em and Mac the dog are great company at home and the people at work are all great. Some assignments have been scary (first day, 15 mins in, covered a murder-suicide ), some have been happy (Jazz Fest, kids painting houses), and you know... the usual day to day news. Haha. Ohhhhhhh we're half way there! - June 2011

So it has been half a year of me doing this project and I am pretty impressed that I have managed to actually get something from every day since January 01, 2011. I have been using my phone apps a bit more recently, but I still like that I am able to capture an image everyday from my life no matter how mundane or how exciting it may be on any particular day. I don't really know how many people actually keep up with my day to day photos, but I hope that those who do are enjoying it as much as I am. Here are some of my favorites from June.
